New Publication: First Edition of "Ubuntu Diplomacy"

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) has launched a new quarterly publication entitled "Ubuntu Diplomacy" which aims to guide readers in understanding South Africa’s foreign policy and the positions the country takes on the global stage. Besides introducing some of the central figures and concepts of South Africa's diplomacy, this first issue explains South Africa's position in relation to some of its main foreign policy instruments like its current role in the UN Security Council, the upcoming BRICS Summit in Durban and the challenges faced by the AU. The publication is available for free download on the Department's Website in PDF format.
