Minister Plenipotentiary Cassimjee Attends Discussion on "South Africa’s New Way"

On 10 July 2019 Minister Plenipotentiary Cassimjee attended a high-level panel discussion organised by Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) in cooperation with Hans-Seidel-Stiftung on "South Africa’s New Way? Challenges to the Ramaphosa Government". In their discussions the panelists Sello Hatang (Chief Executive, Nelson Mandela Foundation), Panyaza Lesufi (Minister of Education and Deputy Party Chairman of the ANC in Gauteng), Dr Martin Schäfer (Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini) and Dr Melanie Müller (SWP - Foundation for Science and Politics) analysed the results of the May elections in South Africa and evaluated the initial steps of the Ramaphosa government.
