Operational Arrangements for Immigration (Visa) Services at the South African Embassy in Berlin

Since 7 June 2022 all visa applications must be submitted in person to the South African Embassy in Berlin (except for visa applicants who reside in Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg), and without prior appointment. All visa applications submitted by courier/post beyond this date will not be considered and will be sent back to the applicant.

Operational times for visa applications as of 16 January 2023 will be as follows:

Mondays: 09:00 am - 12:00 pm
Tuesdays: 09:00 - 12:00 pm
Thursdays: 09:00 am - 12:00 pm

Due to system problems, the turnaround time of visa applications and processings will regretably be delayed. Applicants are kindly requested to be patient, while the Embassy is addressing the matter.
