Ambassador Sizani meets with Representatives of the Ruth Weiss Society and the German African Foundation
Following the memorable event on 30 November 2021 at the St. Mattaeus Church, during which Ms Ruth Weiss, acclaimed author and anti-apartheid and anti-racism activist, gave a speech on the role of German Jewish refugees in South Africa during the anti-apartheid struggle and an excerpt of her novel „My Sister Sara“ was read (as part of the “2021 JLID – 1700 Years Jewish Life in Germany”), Ambassador Stone Sizani met with Dr Konrad and Mrs Nina Melchers and Mr Peter Schrage-Aden of the Ruth Weiss Society as well as Ms Sabine Odhiambo and Ms Larissa Pflüger of the German African Foundation to discuss closer cultural cooperation in the near future.
Subsequent to the meeting, Dr Konrad Melchers handed a copy of his publication, “The Queen of Sheba – A legend of the Three Abrahamic Religions“ to Ambassador Sizani.
