Jenny Robson's "Balaclava Boy" to Premiere at International Literature Festival Berlin (ilb)

The International Literature Festival Berlin, taking place from 6 to 16 September 2017 all over the city of Berlin, presents the European Premiere of Jenny Robson's youth novel "Balaclava Boy" in its extensive Youth Literature Programme. The story introduces Tommy, the new kid at school, who perpetually wears a balaclava which intrigues the other kids who come up with all sorts of theories. As their curiosity grows, Tommy's new friends think of a plan to reveal his secret... Author Jenny Robson was born in South Africa and now lives in Botswana. She has won many important awards for her children’s books, including the UNESCO Prize for Children’s and Young People’s Literature in the Service of Tolerance.
