Job Advertisement: 2 Secretary Posts (Political Secretary and Trade Secretary) - South African Consulate General Munich
The South African Consulate General Munich is looking for a fully bilingual (English/German) Secretary. Applicant should have a relevant three year post-school qualification and a minimum three years’ experience in Secretarial, or Administration Clerk capacity. The candidate must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
Duties
- Screen telephone calls
- Make and record appointments, prepare agendas or programmes for meetings, updating electronic diaries
- Attend and take minutes of meetings, both in the office and at other locations and when required.
- Develop and maintain a filing system (manual and electronic).
- Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines, switchboards, computers
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail, draft letters and reports on behalf of the mission
- Arrange business itineraries, travel arrangements, conferences, meetings and social functions
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining budgets and account records, and purchase office supplies
- Draft letter and act as interpreter at meetings when required
- Handle incoming enquiries pertaining to a variety of issues concerning South Africa and related matters
- Keep stock control of, brochures, posters, books and other information material and prepare “information packs” for various engagements.

Salary: (minimum) € 32.011 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
