The South African Consulate General Munich is looking for a fully bilingual English and German Messenger/Driver.

•    Minimum of 10 years secondary school
•    2 years’ experience as a messenger/driver
•    Possession of a valid local driver’s license and driver’s permit
•    A Valid residence and work permit in Germany

•    Collection and dispatching of mail to and from the post office
•    Registration and distribution of mail and Courier items
•    Scrutinise packages and mail for suspicious objects
•    Collection the daily newspapers
•    Transport other authorised official passengers
•    Ensures proper maintenance and service of the official vehicle/s
•    Perform chauffeur duties for the Consul-General, in the absence of Chauffeur
•    Assist in opening and closing of freight bags
•    Shredding, photocopy, bind and assist in document presentation preparation
•    Replace toner and ink cartridges
•    Perform minor  handy works

•    Driving
•    Read maps/GPS
•    Mechanically inclined
•    Load and unload heavy luggage and packages
•    Mailing  Techniques
•    Security awareness
•    Protocol awareness

Basic salary:  EUR26 966 minimum – EUR40516 maximum, depending on experience & qualifications.
