Withdrawal of visa waiver for New Zealand passport holders

With effect from 16 January 2017 all New Zealand diplomatic, official and ordinary passport holders who intend to enter the Republic of South Africa are required to be in possession of a port of entry visa, which must be applied for and issued at a South African mission abroad, before proceeding to the country (Read more at: http://www.dha.gov.za/index.php/statements-speeches/914-statement-by-minister-gigaba-at-the-media-briefing-on-the-withdrawal-of-visa-free-travel-arrangements-for-new-zealand-passport-holders).

The port of entry visa requirements are available to download from the Embassy website: http://www.suedafrika.org/en/visa-immigration/visas-short-stay-not-exceeding-3-months.html.

New Zealand diplomatic, official and ordinary passport holders who are not in possession of a visa on or after 16 January 2017 will not be allowed entry into the Republic of South Africa.
