Mr Willie Aucamp Visits Germany as part of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue
The South African Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Mr Willie Aucamp, visited the South African Embassy in Berlin, Germany, following fruitful deliberations at the Petersberg Climate Dialogue in the lead up to COP31 later this year.
In his discussions with the host, German Environment Minister Carsten Schneider as well as several other environmental Ministers, Minister Aucamp used the opportunity to share South Africa’s practical experiences of the devastating effects of climate change using the flooding in the Kruger National Park as an example.
