Ambassador Sizani Meets Vice President of the German Bundestag to Discuss Strengthening of Relations between South Africa and Germany

In the first week of July Ambassador Phumelele S. Sizani paid a courtesy call to MP Thomas Oppermann, Vice President of the German Bundestag. During the meeting both Ambassador Sizani and Mr Oppermann spoke about developments in South Africa and shared views on the strengthening of relations between South Africa and Germany for mutual benefit. Since the launch of President Ramaphosa's investment drive, the Berlin Mission has systematically approached federal and regional government bodies and private companies in view of enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic sphere.
