German-African Relations: SA Mission Attends the “German-African Business Dinner"
Minister Plenipotentiary Cassimjee attended the traditional “German-African Business Dinner - African Rhapsody 2017” which was held at Siemensstadt on 6 July 2017, in cooperation with the Group of African Ambassadors in Berlin. The picture features Minister Plen Cassimjee with Ambassador Georg Schmidt, Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa and the Sahel, German Federal Foreign Office, Mr Günter Nooke, BMZ's Commissioner for Africa & German Chancellor's Personal Representative for Africa in the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Mr Christoph Kannengießer, Chief Executive Officer, German African Business Association amongst other distinguished guests.
The Dinner's key note speakers and participants included: President Alpha Conde, President of Guinea, Chairman of the Africa Union, Federal Minister of Economics and Energy Brigitte Zypries, Günter Nooke, BMZ's Commissioner for Africa & German Chancellor's Personal Representative for Africa in the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Ms Sabine Dall 'Omo, Chief Executive Office Siemens Southern and Eastern Africa, African Ambassadors and other distinguished guests.
