Re-Advertised: Job Advertisement for Consulate in Munich: Administrative Clerk

The South African Consulate General in Munich is looking for a fully bilingual English and German speaking permanent Administration Clerk position. Applicants are expected to submit their applications with a covering application letter, accompanied by a detailed CV, in English.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 12 years schooling
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative and finance environment
  • Computer skills in all basic Microsoft Office Applications
  • A valid residence and work permit in Germany

DUTIES: 

The incumbent of this position will responsible for the following:

  • Office administration
  • Procurement of goods and services
  • Assist with protocol related matters
  • Responsible for customs documents  and clearance
  • Inventory and Asset Management
  • Assist with the preparation of budget and monthly financial statements
  • Monitoring and maintenance of  supplier database and contract adherence
  • Performs various secretarial functions as required, i.e. making travel and accommodation arrangements for delegations
  • Records management

Remuneration: Salary: €31 399 - €39 491p/a

The salary will be determined within the above range depending on your qualifications and years of appropriate experience.
