This is how we live in KwaZulu Natal - Everyday Life in KwaZulu Natal

„So leben wir – Alltag in KwaZulu-Natal“, this is the title of the photography exhibition in which the life in South Africa twenty years after the first free elections in which Nelson Mandela was elected President and a democracy was finally introduced.

Despite this ground-breaking event social injustice, poverty, corruption and violence still exists. But there are also other aspects of life, stories of every-day life where people reclaim space, organize themselves and create the life for them and others with dignity. The pictures have been taken by the recognised South African photographer Cedric Nunn.

We cordially invite you to the Vernissage of this exhibition on Wednesday, 9 September 2015, 14:00 -15:00 at “Brot für die Welt” Caroline-Michaelis-Str.1, 10115 Berlin.
