South Africa`s Tourist Minister and exhibitors arrive in Berlin for tourism fair ITB

Berlin, 8 March 2011. One day before the opening of the tourism fair in Berlin (ITB) Chargé d`Affaires, Ms Cassandra Mbuyane-Mokone welcomed the Minister for Tourism: Marthinus van Schalkwyk, the Director General for Tourism, Ambassador Kingsley Makhubela and the CEO of South Africa Tourism, Ms Thandiwe January-McLean as well as all South African exhibitors at the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Berlin. It was a good moment to reflect on the year 2010 and all the excitement and positive memories the year with the first FIFA World Cup on African soil brought to the country. After the speeches the exhibitors had time to exchange experiences and had the opportunity to get ready for the busy five days ahead.
